Health Initiative for Men (HIM)

Health Initiative for Men (HIM) was founded in the heart of Vancouver's gay village in 2008 with the purpose of supporting the holistic well-being of queer men. HIM has since become a pillar of queer men's health in Vancouver's Lower Mainland and beyond, supporting the unique physical, sexual, social, and mental well-being of our communities. 

Aided by hundreds of tireless volunteers, HIM operates five health centres that offer the full spectrum of sexual health testing and counselling, designs innovative interventions and campaigns, collaborates on cutting-edge research projects, and advocates for queer men to actively engage in the well-being of our own communities.
